Role
Graphic Design
In this personal project, I explored a social media rebrand for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Watching one of the best teams in the NBA, it felt like the visual identity on social media didn’t always reflect the level of play on the court. This project became an opportunity to rethink how a modern NBA team could communicate visually in a fast-moving digital environment.
The Problem
Sports social media demands speed. Graphics need to be created and posted immediately after games, often leaving little time for refinement. Many existing visuals felt rushed, inconsistent, or overly complex, sacrificing clarity and cohesion in favor of speed. The challenge was finding a balance between strong, modern design and a workflow that could realistically operate in real time.
The Solution
I designed a modular visual system built for speed and flexibility. Emotional photography drives the visuals, while the underlying system focuses on form through gradients, texture, pixels, and adaptable layouts. This approach allows graphics to be quickly customized and deployed without sacrificing quality, creating a consistent and energetic look that can keep pace with the game.
