Across several days of competition, I documented athletes as they faced the raw physical demands of rodeo; from the explosive power of bull riding to the precision and timing required in roping events. Behind the chutes and in the arena, each moment revealed a blend of risk, resilience, and tradition that defines the sport.

Alongside the action, conversations with athletes provided insight into the personal sacrifices and discipline required to compete at this level. Bull riders, in particular, spoke about the sheer adrenaline and calculated risk of climbing onto an animal bred to throw them off in seconds; an act that borders on reckless, yet embodies the daring spirit of rodeo.
