As part of my internship this summer, my team and I had the chance to cover the Calgary Stampede Rodeo. We interviewed several rodeo athletes about how sport has shaped their lives and the impact it’s had on their personal growth, and got photos of them in action. It was my first time photographing a rodeo—definitely a challenge—but also a great opportunity to push myself creatively and capture something completely new.
